The Yolo County Transportation District (YCTD) Board of Directors adopted the Woodland Transit Study in May 2016. The Study identified a range of recommendations to address public transportation needs for a 20 year horizon. One of the recommendations was to relocate the existing transit center to a more central location to minimize out-of-direction travel.
YCTD, in collaboration with the City of Woodland, is now planning and evaluating the need for a more centrally located transit center.
