First-Row Seating in Yolobus Orion and NABI Buses 08.01.14 11:07 am

Daimler Buses and North American Bus Industries, the manufacturers of many of our buses, have informed their transit customers of a rare safety risk to passengers seated in the front row of forward-facing flip seats. As a result, both bus manufacturers have recommended that those seats be locked in their upright position so that they are no longer available for passenger seating. Yolobus is following this recommendation, and those seats on all Orion and NABI buses have now been locked. The priority seating for seniors and people with disabilities will be extended one row further back and additional decals will be installed to designate those seats for priority seating. We are sorry that the front-row seats will no longer be available for our riders, but passenger safety is our highest priority. Meanwhile we are exploring options to recover some of that lost seating capacity. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
